lyrics

My cabin was cold that winter, so I hiked around a lot, for exercise and to gather wood.

Tromped through the snow all winter long
Heard lots of crackling branches, saw some strange shadows

Something was watching me. I heard awful howls at night...horrible rancid smells...and those hairs on the back of my neck.

I spun around in the late afternoon
And it was coming my way
My trigger tripped just as our eyes locked
And those eyes exploded into my mind

I ran, I ran, I stumbled, and I ran.

Tromped through the snow all the way to town
I had to ask forgiveness from Father Brown.

“I killed some kind of creature - it might have been a man.”

“Please don’t condemn me Father
I thought it was some kind of beast
But when I saw that expression
I knew I was gonna need a priest”
